This vibrant Hazy IPA presents an intense aromatic profile led by the distinctive Barbe Rouge hop, contributing lush notes of ripe strawberries and currants. Complementing this berry sweetness, Cashmere brings layers of smooth melon and lemon zest, while Citra adds a sharp grapefruit and passionfruit punch. Appearance. SRM 4 to 6. Opaque, glowing straw-gold with a distinct hazy shine. Topped with a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head that shows excellent retention and leaves thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a complex blend of strawberry and raspberry from the Barbe Rouge, coupled with melon and lemon lime. A clean, bready, slightly grainy malt backbone supports the fruit without adding caramel or toast. Fermentation is clean with subtle fruity esters.
Taste. Massive fruity hop flavor echoing the aroma with dominant red berry, grapefruit, and tropical melon. The malt provides a low-key, bready support. Perceived bitterness is moderate but feels soft and well-integrated, avoiding any harshness. The finish is off-dry and juicy, with a lingering citrus and berry aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. The beer feels smooth and creamy on the palate with no hop astringency or harshness. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
