DOGZILLA Pink Melon
This American IPA showcases a highly modern, fruit-forward profile driven by a generous cold-hopping regime. The standout Huell Melon hops deliver an enticing, sweet bouquet of ripe honeydew melon, wild strawberry, and bright tropical fruits. Supporting this vibrant hop showcase is a generous, rounded malt base that offers just enough sweet bready structure to cradle the intense aromatics. Appearance. Medium gold with a slight, modern haze from heavy dry-hopping. Formidable, persistent off-white head with excellent, sticky lacing.
Aroma. Prominent to intense hop aroma dominated by sweet honeydew melon, fresh strawberry, and light tropical fruit notes, backed by a clean, low, grainy-sweet pale malt presence and a clean, neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression of sweet fruitiness, carrying hop flavors of melon, berry, and soft tropical fruit. Medium-high hop bitterness provides balance against a generous, bready pale malt backbone. Finishes medium-dry with a lingering, clean, hoppy aftertaste.
