This American IPA showcases the vibrant, modern profile of a single-hop showcase featuring Eclipse. A bright sensory experience opens with an intense aromatic burst of sweet mandarin citrus and fresh pine needles, hallmarks of this Australian variety. Beneath the assertive hop forwardness, a clean, singular Pale malt foundation provides a crisp, grainy backdrop that allows the complex hop oils to dominate. The palate is defined by a firm bitterness and flavors of citrus peel and zesty fruit, leading into a bone-dry, refreshing finish. It is a lean, highly drinkable interpretation that emphasizes hop purity and aromatic depth.

Appearance. Medium gold (approx. 7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by sweet mandarin, citrus zest, and distinct resinous pine. A low, clean, grainy-sweet malt presence supports the hops without adding caramel complexity. Clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is punchy citrus and pine resin. Medium-high bitterness is clean and sharp, backed by a low, crackery malt flavor. The balance is decidedly hop-forward, showcasing the zesty qualities of the Eclipse hop. Finishes very dry and crisp with a lingering, resinous hop aftertaste.
