Nordic Spring is a vibrant Hazy IPA that marries the tropical intensity of Norwegian Kveik yeast with a unique northern-inspired botanical profile. The appearance is a luminous, opaque pale gold topped with a resilient white head. Aromas of bright orange peel and piney wild juniper berries mingle with the yeast's signature stone fruit esters. On the palate, the Danko rye malt provides a spicy, grainy depth that balances the massive citrus hop character. A soft, medium-full mouthfeel carries waves of mango and grapefruit before finishing with a clean, botanical dryness and a hint of peppery spice from the rye.
Appearance. Straw to light amber (approx. 5 SRM); opaque haze with a luminous shine; thick, rocky, white meringue-like head with high retention.
Aroma. High intensity; dominant citrus zest from orange peel and tropical stone fruit esters from Kveik yeast; distinct evergreen and woodsy notes from wild juniper berries; background of grainy, spicy Danko rye malt; no caramel or toast.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor of grapefruit and mango; bright mid-palate of orange peel; complex grainy malt base with a subtle peppery note from the Danko rye; moderate perceived bitterness that is smooth and well-integrated; finish is off-dry and clean with a lingering botanical resin.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky texture; moderate carbonation; light, well-integrated alcohol warmth; smooth and rounded without astringency or harshness.
