The experience begins with an inviting aroma of earthy, sweet chocolate coupled with the sharp, pungent snap of ginger. On the palate, a lush cocoa depth melds with the smoky, spicy sweetness of the ginger, creating a complex mid-palate. A smooth, warming chili heat builds gently, providing a lingering finish that balances the initial sweetness. With its moderate 5% ABV, it offers a harmonious fusion of fiery spice and decadent chocolate.
Appearance. Deep mahogany to dark brown with a slight hazy opacity from the chocolate and ginger additions. Pours with a moderate, tan head that shows fair retention, though spice oils may diminish lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatic profile dominated by fresh, pungent ginger and rich, dark chocolate. Subtle earthy notes and a hint of smoky chili pepper are present. Malt aroma is low, primarily providing a sweet backdrop, while hop aroma is absent to allow the spices to shine.
