Ginger Beer 4.5 º
Aradia presents a vibrant sensory journey rooted in the piquant zest of a Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer. The primary profile is defined by an assertive, freshly-grated ginger heat that provides an earthy, spicy backbone. This intensity is beautifully uplifted by the high-toned, citrusy brightness of lemongrass, imparting notes of lemon peel and herbal tea. At 4.5% ABV, the beer remains light and incredibly refreshing, favoring a crisp, dry finish that emphasizes the raw botanical ingredients over malt sweetness. The fermentation character is clean, allowing the interplay between the warming ginger and the cooling, aromatic lemongrass to remain the central focus.
Appearance. SRM 3-6. Pours a hazy, pale straw to light gold. Topped by a frothy white head with moderate retention and light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity of fresh ginger root, offering spicy and earthy notes. This is complemented by a bright, citrusy lemongrass character reminiscent of lemon zest and dried herbs. Low grainy malt sweetness and minimal hop aroma.
Taste. An immediate snap of spicy ginger heat leads the palate, followed quickly by the cooling, tart lemon-lime flavors of lemongrass. Low bitterness, as the spice provides the primary structure. The finish is clean and dry with a lingering botanical zest.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation that enhances the refreshing qualities. Includes a mild, pleasant tingle or prickle on the tongue from the ginger spice; no significant alcohol warmth.
