Disruption is Brewing

In My Walkabout Haze is a vibrantly hop-forward American Pale Ale that leans into modern, lush tropical profiles. The foundation is built on Citra and Simcoe in the boil, providing layers of citrus and subtle resin. A massive double dry hop of Mosaic and Galaxy transforms the character, delivering intense aromas of sweet candy, ripe mango, and juicy peach. These New World hops dominate the palate with waves of tropical stone fruit and passionfruit. While the malt remains a supportive, grainy presence, it allows the complexity of the hops to shine through a soft, hazy appearance. It finishes with a clean, moderate bitterness.

Appearance. Pale golden (approximately 6 SRM). Opaque to hazy clarity with a moderately large, white, creamy head showing good retention and light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity. Bold tropical fruit esters and hop aromas featuring mango, peach, and passionfruit from Mosaic and Galaxy. Supporting notes of citrus peel and resinous pine from Citra and Simcoe. Low grainy-sweet maltiness and a hint of candy-like sweetness.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical stone fruit. Medium-high hop flavors of mango and citrus. Low neutral malt provides a light bready backbone. Moderate bitterness is well-integrated, leading to a medium-dry finish with lingering tropical notes and a clean, non-harsh aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, slightly creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. Smooth finish with no perceived astringency.
