This New England-style version of an American Pale Ale delivers a striking sensory experience centered on tropical smoothness and berry blissfulness. A foundation of extra pale malts and a heavy addition of oats creates a soft, hazy profile that emphasizes texture over bitterness. The aroma is high in intensity, bursting with ripe stone fruit and mixed berry notes. Appearance. Pale gold (approx. 5-6 SRM). Opaque with a maximum haze mode appearance. Large, white, frothy head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit notes and distinct berry character. Low, neutral, grainy maltiness from the extra pale malts provides a clean backdrop. No diacetyl; low fruity esters from fermentation are present but secondary to hops.
Taste. Initial impression is soft and fruit-forward with tropical and berry flavors. Very low hop bitterness, lacking any harsh bite. Low bready malt flavor supports the hop presentation without adding sweetness. Finish is clean and fruity with a short, smooth aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a notable silkiness and creaminess contributed by the oats. Moderate carbonation. Completely smooth with no astringency or perceptible alcohol warmth.
