This Weissbier offers a vibrant twist on tradition by integrating the bright, citrus-forward character of Mandarina Bavaria hops into a classic German wheat beer profile. The aromatic profile is led by the signature yeast-driven duo of banana and clove, further enhanced by a distinct note of sweet mandarin orange. Pale gold and naturally hazy, it balances soft, doughy wheat malt with a refreshing citrus bitterness that elevates the finish beyond a standard wheat ale. Effervescent and medium-bodied, it maintains the fluffy textures expected of the style while delivering a modern, fruit-accented drinkability that remains crisp, balanced, and deeply refreshing.
Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (SRM 3-5). Features a very thick, moussy, and long-lasting white head with excellent lacing. Naturally hazy with a soft, yeast-driven radiance.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Prominent banana esters and spicy clove phenols are well-integrated with a distinct, sweet citrus note of mandarin orange from the dry hopping. Supporting aromas include bready, doughy wheat and a light grainy-sweetness from Pilsner malt.
Taste. Initial impression is a blend of creamy wheat and bright citrus. Low to moderate banana and clove flavors are balanced by a noticeable Mandarina Bavaria hop presence, contributing mandarin orange and a light, citrusy bitterness. Soft, bready malt provides the backbone. The finish is relatively dry, clean, and highly refreshing with a lingering citrus note.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a characteristic fluffy, creamy fullness. High carbonation provides an effervescent, spritzy finish. Alcohol warmth is negligible and well-integrated.
