Deya Brewing Company

Unsteady Rolling Man presents an intensified sensory experience of a classic soft-profile Double IPA. This amped-up iteration leads with an explosive hop bouquet of tropical mango, ripe pineapple, and bright citrus zest, underpinned by a soft, pillowy mouthfeel characteristic of the brewery's house style. The pale malt base is intentionally restrained, providing a neutral, cracker-like canvas that allows the high-intensity hop oils to shine. Despite its 8% strength, the beer maintains high drinkability with a smooth, well-integrated alcohol warmth and a clean, dry finish that avoids the cloying weight of a barleywine, leaving a lingering, resinous bitterness.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange with a persistent, dense white head leaving heavy lacing. Displays a characteristic hazy opacity typical of the brewery's soft-water approach.

Aroma. High-intensity aroma dominated by tropical fruit, including passion fruit and mango, alongside citrus notes of grapefruit and orange peel. Background notes of resinous pine and a very low, neutral grainy malt character. Clean fermentation profile with a hint of smooth alcohol.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of tropical fruit and citrus follow the aroma. The malt is supportive and clean, providing a soft, bready foundation without sweetness.
