DEYA Brewing Company Spinning Away

This beer is the progression of barrel aged Simple Wheat Thing. Our mixed fermentation mother beer, forming a large part of the base for all of our fruit blends. The beer is brewed with a high proportion of wheat to give the microorganisms plenty of food for the long slow secondary fermentation. The beer is initially fermented with our house yeast then matured in French oak barrels for many months, where the wild yeast and bacterial culture start to express themselves, bringing acidity, and complex aromatics. Often described as 'funky' 'wild' 'rustic'. There are aromas and flavours of peach, flint, hay, fresh cut botanicals, floral....and many others. Drink some, dig deep and explore!
