Flâmula is a sophisticated Brett Beer that showcases a harmonious marriage of organic Pera and wild fermentation. After fifteen months of barrel aging and a tertiary fermentation on fresh fruit, it presents a multifaceted sensory profile. The aroma is led by ripe orchard fruit and rustic Brettanomyces funk, reminiscent of wet hay and aged leather. On the palate, the natural sweetness of the pear is transformed into a dry, estery elegance, supported by subtle oak tannins and a crisp, high attenuation. The result is a highly effervescent and refreshing wild ale that balances earthy depth with vibrant fruit character.

Appearance. Pale gold to light amber (SRM 4-6) with a slight to moderate haze from fresh fruit. Features a fine-beaded, persistent white head with delicate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity of fresh pear and floral esters, layered over moderate funk including notes of hay, earthy musk, and a hint of barnyard. Subtle vanilla and toasted oak emerge from the extended wood aging.

Taste. Initial impressions of floral pear skin and crisp orchard fruit give way to a rustic, earthy complexity. The profile is bone-dry with very low malt sweetness, allowing a light, bright acidity and subtle wood tannins to shine. Bitterness is low, finishing clean and highly attenuated.
