In realtà Desperados è nata nel 1995 nelle sale della Brasserie Fischer, nella regione francese dell’Alsazia, terra che ha dato vita a molte birre importanti.
Il nome “Desperados” deriva, inoltre, dal fatto che, poco dopo la sua ideazione, i produttori si trovarono di fronte il problema della denominazione della birra e si misero alla disperata ricerca di un nome adatto, da questa situazione disperata giunse quindi l’idea del nome Desperados.
La Desperados è una birra ispirata allo stile Lager ma aromatizzata alla Tequila. Al naso è una birra trasgressiva proprio per merito delle note di tequila che emergono. Al gusto, invece, è tendenzialmente dolce.
Si accompagna a biscotteria, pasticceria, frutta secca, formaggi e salumi, ma ciò non toglie di poterla gustare liscia intorno ad un tavolino in compagnia dei vostri amici.
