This Hazy IPA showcases a sophisticated blend of New World hops over a dense Pale malt base. The star of the show, Sabro, defines the experience with its distinctive coconut, creamy vanilla, and aromatic cedar wood notes. Layered beneath are intense tropical pulses of mango and pineapple from Mosaic and Azacca, while Citra provides a bright citrus lift. The appearance is opaque with a radiant orange hue and a resilient, meringue-like white head. A soft, velvety mouthfeel carries these juicy flavors through a low-bitterness finish that remains remarkably smooth, highlighting the complex biotransformation of its double dry-hopped character.
Appearance. 4-7 SRM; deep straw to hazy orange. Massive, white, meringue-like head with high retention and thick lacing. Opaque clarity with a healthy, luminous shine.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominant tropical notes of coconut and pineapple, supported by vanilla and a unique cedar wood aromatic. Secondary notes of ripe mango and citrus zest. Low bready malt and neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. High impact tropical fruit flavor; coconut and stone fruit lead, followed by tangerine and mango. Low to medium-high bitterness that is soft and integrated. Balanced toward hops with a bready, grainy malt base. Finishes off-dry and juicy with lingering tropical fruit.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body. Moderate carbonation. Smooth and soft without any hop harshness or astringency. Light alcohol warmth.
