This indulgent Fruit Beer pours a deep, dark ruby with a dense, pink-tinted head. The aroma is highly expressive, dominated by ripe, mildly sour cherries and a distinctively nutty, marzipan-like almond character. On the palate, a lush sweetness is expertly countered by a refreshing tartness from the fruit, creating a complex bittersweet profile. The underlying strength of the Belgian base provides a smooth, medium-full body and a gentle alcoholic warmth. With its vibrant cherry intensity and sophisticated stone-fruit depth, it serves as a luxurious dessert-style ale that remains balanced and remarkably drinkable despite its high gravity.

Appearance. Deep dark red to ruby-brown; compact, light pink head with excellent retention and fine lacing. Generally clear, though the depth of color makes it appear nearly opaque.

Aroma. High intensity of macerated cherries and tart red fruit. Notable secondary notes of almond and marzipan. Subtle spicy yeast esters provide a faint background of clove, but the fruit character is dominant and fresh.

Taste. Initial impression is rich cherry sweetness followed by a bright, mildly acidic tartness. Distinct almond and cherry-pit flavors add complexity. Malt character is supportive, providing a sugary backbone with very low hop bitterness. The finish is lingering and bittersweet.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, velvety texture. Moderate carbonation provides enough lift to prevent cloying. A gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is noticeable but not harsh.
