Golden Cord is an assertive Wild Specialty Beer defined by a massive infusion of passion fruit that drives its tropical sensory profile. The aroma is dominated by the pungent, tangy scent of fresh passion fruit, interwoven with the rustic leathery funk of a wild fermentation. At 7.5% ABV, the beer possesses a firm structure that supports the sharp, lactic acidity and intense fruit character. The palate is a balanced interplay between exotic fruit tartness and earthy wild yeast complexity, finishing crisp and dry with a lingering tropical punch. It represents a bold, fruit-forward interpretation of the American Wild Ale tradition.

Appearance. Deep golden to vibrant yellow (SRM 5-7) with a dense, opaque haze from the heavy fruit addition. The white head forms with moderate volume but recedes quickly to a thin collar due to high acidity and fruit oils.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of tart passion fruit dominate, offering notes of tropical citrus and guava. Supporting these are moderate wild fermentation characteristics including leathery funk, wet hay, and a light lemony tartness. Malt is low and bready; hop aroma is absent.

Taste. Initial impression is sharply acidic and fruit-forward, featuring intense, authentic passion fruit flavor. The mid-palate reveals a complex wild yeast character with earthy and funky notes that temper the fruit's sharpness. Bitterness is very low to absent, allowing the acidity to provide the balance. The finish is very dry and refreshing with a long-lasting passion fruit aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body, providing more viscosity than typical wild ales due to the fruit density. Carbonation is moderate to high, creating a prickly sensation that accentuates the tartness. A gentle alcohol warmth is noticeable but well-integrated into the acidic profile.
