Prodigal Dawn is an immersive sensory experience, delivering an intense, saturated hop profile driven by a massive dry-hop addition of Mosaic, Idaho 7, Galaxy, and Nelson Sauvin. This Double IPA pours with a lush, opaque haze, releasing a vibrant bouquet of tropical passionfruit, crushed gooseberry, and dank pineapple. The palate is dominated by complex layers of white grape from the Nelson Sauvin and ripe stone fruit from the Galaxy, supported by a lean, bready malt base. A firm but smooth bitterness balances the 9.2% ABV, which provides a well-integrated warmth. The finish is remarkably clean, leaving a lingering trail of citrus zest and resin.
Appearance. Pale gold to light orange (6-8 SRM). Opaque, persistent haze with a thick, creamy white head that leaves significant lacing.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring heavy tropical fruit, mango, passionfruit, and citrus. Distinguishable notes of gooseberry and white wine grapes are present alongside subtle dank pine and berry. Malt is a low, neutral cracker-like backdrop. Clean fermentation profile.
