This elevated Hazy IPA delivers a saturated sensory experience, evolving the brewery’s signature profile with a substantial oat addition and lactose. The pour reveals a dense, opaque glow with a brilliant shine. High-intensity aromas of tropical stone fruit and bright citrus lead the charge, supported by a soft, bready malt backbone. On the palate, the increased dry-hopping translates into layers of succulent mango and pineapple, while the lactose provides a subtle, rounded sweetness that balances the restrained bitterness. The finish is remarkably smooth and plush, defined by a creamy, milkshake-like texture that lingers pleasantly without becoming cloying.
Appearance. Color is pale straw to light orange (4-6 SRM). Opaque, uniform haze with a brilliant shine. Head is a thick, rocky, meringue-like white foam with exceptional retention and intricate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominated by tropical fruit (mango, passionfruit) and stone fruit (peach, apricot) with a citrus (tangerine) edge. Subtle grainy, bready malt scents underneath. Fermentation esters are fruity and well-integrated with the hop profile.
Taste. Exploding with fruity hop flavors of pineapple, orange, and soft melon. The malt presence is low but provides a grainy, oat-like support. Bitterness is medium-low, perceived as soft and non-lingering. Finish is off-dry and exceptionally smooth, with a lingering juicy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a distinctively smooth, creamy, and velvety texture derived from the heavy oat grist and lactose. Carbonation is moderate. No alcohol warmth or harshness; incredibly soft on the palate.
