Deeds Brewing presents Le Lapin Blanc, a classic Belgian Witbier that captures a vibrant, zesty spirit at a sessionable 4.8% ABV. This elegantly crafted ale leads with a luminous, milky haze and a pillowy white head. The aromatics are defined by a sophisticated interplay of fragrant coriander and bright orange peel, layered over a foundation of bready wheat and subtle honeyed malt. On the palate, refreshing citrus notes dance alongside a delicate herbal spiciness, supported by a creamy, smooth mouthfeel. High carbonation ensures a crisp, dry finish, making this a quintessential, balanced expression of the style that remains light on its feet.
Appearance. Very pale straw (2–3 SRM) with a pronounced, milky whitish-yellow haze from unmalted wheat. Displays a dense, white, moussy head with excellent retention and fine-beaded lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity with a foundation of bready malt and light grainy wheat. Pronounced zesty, citrusy orange peel aromatics are well-integrated with perfumy-lemony coriander and a complex, peppery herbal spice. Hop aroma is absent, allowing the spice and yeast character to lead.
Taste. Pleasant bready and grainy malt flavor with a hint of vanilla. Bright, zesty orange citrus and lemony coriander dominate the mid-palate. Hop bitterness is low, providing just enough structure to balance the malt sweetness. The finish is refreshingly crisp and dry, without any lingering bitterness or harshness.
