Aroma. High intensity. Deep layers of bittersweet chocolate, cocoa powder, and toasted grain. Strong esters of dark cherry and black currant. Subtle notes of molasses and roasted espresso emerge as it warms, with a clean, low hop presence and noticeable but smooth alcohol.
Taste. Initial impression is rich and dessert-like. Dominant flavors of dark chocolate brownie and sweet, jammy cherries. Mid-palate introduces roasted malt bitterness and coffee-like char. The balance leans toward a malty sweetness, supported by a moderate bitterness that prevents a cloying finish. The aftertaste lingers with cocoa and warm, dark fruit.
Mouthfeel. Full to very full-bodied with a chewy, velvety, and luscious texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A distinct, smooth alcohol warmth is present throughout, complementing the beer's richness without being sharp or solventy.
