Deeds Brewing

Another Shrubbery is a lush Hazy IPA that exemplifies the modern juicy profile through a sophisticated hop trio. Nelson Sauvin leads the charge with distinctive aromas of crushed white grape and gooseberry, while Enigma contributes nuanced layers of red currant and melon. Cashmere rounds out the sensory experience, providing a soft citrus and tropical fruit backdrop. This beer presents a saturated hop character balanced by a neutral, lightly bready malt base. On the palate, the intense fruit flavors are delivered via a pillowy, soft mouthfeel typical of the style, finishing with a restrained bitterness and a lingering, juice-like sweetness.

Appearance. Straw to light orange (4-5 SRM) with a striking, opaque haze that creates a luminous glow. Topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical and pome fruits; specific notes of white wine, passion fruit, and lime zest. A faint, clean, grainy-bready malt backbone supports the hops, accompanied by subtle fruity fermentation esters. No evidence of herbal or grassy notes.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with prominent white grape, raspberry, and melon. Low bready malt flavor provides a soft platform. Bitterness is low to medium-low and exceptionally smooth, never sharp. The finish is off-dry and juicy, with a clean aftertaste of tropical fruit and citrus.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and smooth texture. Medium carbonation provides a gentle lift without any carbonic bite. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, but there is no astringency or harshness.
