Gravity’s Pull is a powerful Double IPA that showcases an expressive Southern Hemisphere hop profile. The aromatics are led by the vibrant citrus and lime zest of Motueka, underscored by the tropical pineapple and passionfruit notes characteristic of Vic Secret. A foundational, clean malt bill provides a soft canvas for the resinous spice and subtle stone fruit of Topaz to emerge. Despite its 8.2% ABV, the beer maintains high drinkability with a firm, integrated bitterness and a lean, dry finish. It offers a complex, multi-layered hop experience ranging from lush tropical fruit to sharp evergreen.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (7-9 SRM) with slight hop haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent lime zest, pineapple, and passionfruit. Secondary notes of resinous pine and light lychee fruit. Clean, neutral malt background with a faint hint of grainy sweetness and a smooth, well-hidden alcohol presence.

Taste. Immediate wave of tropical fruit including crushed pineapple and lime, followed by a resinous, herbal bitterness. The malt character is low and supportive, with light bready notes. Finishes dry and crisp with a lingering, firm bitterness and a clean hop aftertaste. High bitterness is evident but remains smooth and free of harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. Medium-high carbonation provides a crisp lift to the palate. A soft, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but remains restrained.
