While the hop-forward profile remains the primary focus, a clean, grainy malt base provides necessary structure, ensuring the bright, zesty aromatics lead into a crisp, bitter, and refreshing finish.
Appearance. Pours a deep gold to light amber with a medium-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves consistent lacing. Clarity ranges from clear to a light, hop-induced haze typical of double dry-hopped examples.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by bright tangerine, orange zest, and tropical notes of mango and pineapple from the Citra hops. A clean, low, grainy-sweet malt scent supports the citrus explosion, with a very light, smooth alcohol note present in the background.
Taste. The initial impression is a burst of juicy tangerine and orange oils. High hop flavors of citrus and stone fruit lead into a firm, medium-high bitterness.
