This Hazy IPA offers a lush, tropical experience driven by a complex double dry hop of Barbe Rouge, Belma, and Strata. It pours with a characteristically opaque, golden glow. The nose is an explosion of ripe strawberries and passionfruit, while the palate delivers layers of citrus and melon underpinned by a soft, bready malt base. The new yeast blend enhances the velvety mouthfeel and fruity esters, leading to a smooth, low-bitterness finish. Balanced and juicy, it captures the essence of a modern New England-style ale with distinct red fruit nuances.
Appearance. SRM 4-6, pale gold to soft orange; features a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and dense lacing; opaque haze with a vibrant shine and no visible particulates.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by fresh strawberry, raspberry, and passionfruit; secondary notes of cantaloupe and sweet citrus; low, grainy, bready malt in the background with significant stone fruit esters from the yeast blend.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with prominent red berry and tropical fruit; low to medium grainy malt sweetness; perceived bitterness is low to moderate and well-masked by the body; finish is off-dry and smooth with a lingering, juicy fruit aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture; moderate carbonation; very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth; exceptionally smooth with no hop harshness or astringency.
