This deep golden ale features an intense aromatic bouquet of citrus, floral blooms, and resinous pine, driven by triple dry-hopping with Amarillo, Simcoe, Cascade, and Chinook. On the palate, a soft foundation of caramel and biscuity malts balances a firm, medium-high bitterness. Layers of orange and pear esters mingle with the pungent hop character, leading to a refreshingly smooth, clean finish. Appearance. Deep golden to light copper (8-12 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a creamy, rocky white head that shows excellent retention and fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatic profile. Dominant hop character featuring bright citrus, floral notes, and resinous spicy pine. This is supported by a moderate bready malt backbone with hints of light caramel and honey. Subtle fruity esters like orange and pear are present but secondary to the hop-forward profile.
Taste. Initial impression is a blend of smooth caramel malt sweetness and vibrant hop flavors. Distinctive grapefruit and pine resin transition into a medium-high bitterness that is firm but balanced. Toasty and biscuity malt notes provide a solid foundation.
