Electric Eel is a vibrant and inviting New England IPA that bridges the gap between hop-forward intensity and delicate botanical complexity. Pouring with a characteristic haze, it immediately presents a soft, pillowy profile typical of the style. The integration of organic hibiscus imparts a unique floral elegance, offering a subtle sweet-and-sour interplay that complements the tropical and citrus hop notes. Appearance. The beer presents a color ranging from straw to a unique light orange with a subtle pinkish tint from the hibiscus. It displays a characteristic opaque, glowing haze without being murky. A thick, meringue-like white head persists with excellent retention and lacing.

Aroma. High intensity of tropical fruit and citrus hops, featuring notes of mango and tangerine. The hibiscus provides a distinct floral layer, reminiscent of dried petals and a hint of red berry. A clean, bready, and lightly grainy malt presence sits in the background, while the fermentation profile remains neutral to slightly fruity.

Taste. A high impact of juicy tropical and stone fruit flavors leads the palate. The hibiscus addition contributes a delicate flowery sweetness and a very faint, refreshing tartness that brightens the profile. Malt flavors are subtle and bready.
