Bohemian Pilsener 4.5 º 40 IBU
This refreshing German Pils presents an elegant balance between refined noble hops and a clean, grainy malt backbone. Bright gold in the glass, it opens with a moderate-to-high aroma of spicy and floral German hops, layered over delicate notes of toasted cracker and light honey derived from high-quality Pilsner malt. The palate is dominated by a crisp, firm bitterness that underscores flavors of dried herbs and cereal grain. Cleanly fermented with a dry, mineral finish, it maintains a harmonious character where the hop-forward profile lingers pleasantly. It is a pure, effervescent expression of the style designed for high drinkability.
Appearance. Light gold to straw (approx. 3 SRM); brilliant clarity with a thick, dense, and persistent white head that leaves significant lacing.
Aroma. Moderately high spicy and herbal hop intensity; secondary notes of grainy-sweet malt, toasted crackers, and a hint of honey; exceptionally clean fermentation profile with no detectable esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial impression of crisp graininess quickly followed by a dominant, clean hop bitterness; flavors of floral hops and light dough; finishes very dry and crisp with a lingering, pleasant herbal bitterness and a faint mineral touch.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation providing a prickly, refreshing effervescence; negligible alcohol warmth given the 4.5% ABV; smooth texture without harshness or astringency.
