Inverted is a classic Hazy IPA that captures the essence of the New England style through a complex grist of lager malt, wheat, and oats. This grain bill provides a soft, pillowy foundation for the intense hop profile. On the nose and palate, Mosaic and Citra drive vibrant notes of ripe mango and juicy apricot, while Cascade and Chinook contribute a layered citrus depth and a distinctive resinous pine character. Despite its thick, hazy appearance, the beer maintains excellent drinkability. The experience concludes with a long, refreshing bitterness that balances the tropical sweetness, staying true to its American hop roots while delivering a modern, velvety mouthfeel.

Appearance. Color is a hazy, glowing straw (approximately 4 SRM) with a luminous, opaque quality. It features a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent tropical fruit (mango) and stone fruit (apricot). These are supported by citrus zest and a distinct resinous pine character. The malt presents as a neutral, lightly bready backdrop with no caramel or toast, while the fermentation profile is clean with subtle fruity esters.

Taste. High hop flavor of mango and apricot leads the palate, quickly followed by the citrus and resinous pine notes of the kettle hops. The malt flavor is low to medium, offering a grainy, bready support. Bitterness is moderate and refreshing, never harsh, leading into an off-dry finish with a long, lingering fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, soft texture resulting from the oat and wheat additions. Carbonation is moderate, and there is no astringency or harshness. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
