Dark Revolution Let It Flow
Let It Flow is a vibrant and exceptionally crisp Alternative Grain Beer that balances a lean malt foundation with a punchy, modern hop profile. A blend of pale and pilsner malts creates a clean, bready canvas with a subtle grainy depth, allowing the Simcoe and Citra hops to command center stage. The aromatic profile is dominated by Simcoe cryo, delivering distinctive notes of orange crush, resinous pine, and ripe stone fruit. On the palate, the addition of Citra brings bright layers of citrus zest and a tropical finish. Its light body and dry, smooth character ensure refreshing drinkability and a clean, lingering hop presence.
Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (3–5 SRM). Brilliantly clear to slightly hazy from dry-hop particulates. Persistent, fine-beaded white head with moderate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high hop intensity featuring bright orange crush, resinous pine, and apricot stone fruit from Simcoe. Secondary notes of lemon zest and mango from Citra. Malt is low and clean, showing light bready and grainy pilsner-like qualities. Fermentation is clean with no significant yeast esters.
Taste. Initial impression is crisp and hop-forward. Strong flavors of tangerine, pine needles, and tropical fruit dominate the mid-palate. The malt base provides a light, crackery, and bready flavor that supports the hops without adding sweetness. Bitterness is moderate to firm but well-integrated. The finish is very dry and clean with a lingering citrus zest aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, almost soft texture. Carbonation is moderate to high, providing a refreshing prickle. No alcohol warmth is perceived; finish is exceptionally crisp and free of astringency.
