Primeval is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a sophisticated hop profile derived from Luminosa, Strata, and Audacia additions. The sensory journey begins with an explosion of tropical fruit and citrus, where the Strata and Strata CGX contribute deep layers of passionfruit and dank resin. Luminosa adds bright notes of peach and lemonade, while Audacia provides a unique berry-like undertone. This collaboration with Neon Raptor delivers a plush, velvety body typical of the style, balancing a subtle grainy-sweet malt backbone against a refined, soft bitterness. The result is a highly aromatic, juicy experience that emphasizes modern hop biotransformation and a smooth, clean finish.

Appearance. Pours a glowing, opaque deep straw to pale orange with a hazy, radiant shine. Crowned by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head that exhibits excellent retention and leaves thick, patterned lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity of tropical and stone fruit aromas, led by prominent notes of passionfruit, ripe peach, and mango. A subtle citrus zest and a hint of dank, herbal resin follow. The malt profile is understated but present, offering a clean, lightly bready and grainy-sweet background without any toasted or caramel notes. Fermentation esters are clean and complement the fruity hop character perfectly.

Taste. The palate is dominated by an immediate wave of juicy tropical fruit—passionfruit and pineapple—intermingled with sweet citrus and a touch of berry. The malt provides a soft, bready foundation that supports the intense hop flavors. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low-medium due to the full body, remaining smooth without any harshness or vegetal astringency. The finish is off-dry and clean, leaving a lingering impression of tropical fruit juice.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably soft, pillowy mouthfeel. Carbonation is moderate, providing a gentle lift. A very light alcohol warmth is well-integrated and pleasant. Entirely smooth with no astringency or raw starch texture.
