Dark Element Brew Co

Milestone is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a sophisticated hop trio of Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, and Idaho 7. Motueka leads with the bright zest of fresh lime, while Nelson Sauvin introduces elegant notes of crushed white grapes and gooseberry. Complementing this is Idaho 7, contributing layers of ripe stone fruit, tangerine, and a subtle hint of resinous pine. Together, they create a saturated tropical profile over a pillowy, soft malt base. The experience is intensely juicy, balancing hop-derived complexity with a restrained bitterness and creamy texture. It concludes with a clean, fruit-forward finish that highlights its modern hop-forward intensity.

Appearance. SRM 4 to 6. Straw to light orange-amber with a distinct, opaque haze that provides a luminous shine. Topped with a medium-sized, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by lime, gooseberry, and white wine grapes, alongside stone fruit and tropical notes. Secondary notes of bready, grainy malt appear in the background. Fermentation esters are fruity and well-integrated with the New World hop profile.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with lime, apricot, and tropical citrus. Low grainy-sweet malt flavor provides a supportive backbone. Bitterness is low to medium and exceptionally smooth, never harsh. The finish is off-dry and medium-bodied with a lingering, juicy aftertaste of stone fruit and grape.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation and a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth from the 7.2% ABV. Very smooth mouthfeel with no astringency or harshness.
