Dark Element Brew Co

Kingslayer is a quintessential Hazy IPA that showcases a vibrant hop profile driven by Mosaic, Galaxy, and Nectaron. The aroma is an explosion of tropical fruit, featuring prominent notes of passionfruit and pineapple from the Galaxy, intertwined with the ripe peach character of Nectaron. Mosaic adds layers of blueberry and tangerine. Visually, it presents a signature opaque haze with a luminous glow and a thick, meringue-like head. The palate follows the nose, offering intense juicy fruit flavors supported by a soft, bready malt backbone. With its low perceived bitterness and pillowy texture, it delivers a smooth, fruit-forward finish that emphasizes hop depth.

Appearance. Deep straw to light amber (4-6 SRM). Opaque and hazy with a characteristic glow; no visible particulates or yeast clumps. Topped with a medium, rocky, white head with excellent retention.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical passionfruit, stone fruit, and citrus. Clean, lightly bready malt in the background. Fermentation is clean with supportive fruity esters that complement the hop oils without being dominant.

Taste. High hop flavor of peach, pineapple, and berry. Malt is low and grainy-sweet, providing a neutral foundation. Bitterness is low to medium-low, finishing soft and off-dry. The aftertaste is clean and packed with tropical fruit oils rather than harsh bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and smooth texture. Moderate carbonation. No astringency or hop burn. Light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
