This West Coast-style Double IPA presents an assertive sensory profile driven by a heavy-handed dry-hop addition of Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe. The aroma leads with intense layers of resinous pine and grapefruit zest, evolving into deeper notes of blueberry and tropical mango. On the palate, a clean, neutral malt base provides just enough support for a sharp, clean bitterness that defines the style. Flavors of tangerine and dank herbs linger through a dry, crisp finish. Despite the 8.5% ABV, the alcohol is well-integrated, offering a smooth warmth that complements the bold, hop-forward character without overwhelming the bright, fruity esters.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (7-9 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop-forward aroma featuring bright grapefruit and lime, earthy pine, and subtle blueberry notes. Clean, grainy-sweet malt lingers in the background with minimal fermentation esters and a soft, clean alcohol note.

Taste. Initial impression of sharp citrus and resinous bitterness. Malt flavor is low and neutral, serving to highlight tropical fruit and dank herbal hop flavors. High bitterness is firm but not harsh, leading to a very dry, clean finish with a long-lingering hoppy aftertaste.
