Cultivated Mind is a vibrant Hazy IPA that captures an intense bouquet of tropical and citrus notes. The massive dry-hop addition of Citra and Mosaic delivers signature waves of juicy mango, pink grapefruit, and passion fruit, while the inclusion of Solero adds distinct layers of tropical fruit salad and subtle honeydew. Beneath the aromatic hop canopy, a soft, grainy malt profile provides a stable, bready foundation. Its opaque, glowing appearance precedes a velvety, pillowy mouthfeel. The finish is remarkably smooth, with a restrained bitterness that allows the lush, resinous fruit character to linger without any harshness or astringency.
Appearance. Straw to deep gold (4–6 SRM). Opaque with a characteristic hazy shine; no visible particulates. Features a persistent, thick, meringue-like white head with dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring dominant tropical mango, ripe pineapple, and zesty tangerine from Citra and Mosaic. Solero contributes exotic fruit notes. Clean, grainy, and lightly bready malt in the background; no caramel or toast. Neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. High to very high fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with layers of citrus juice and stone fruit. Low to medium-high perceived bitterness that is well-masked by the soft body. Malt flavor is low and bready. Finish is off-dry, smooth, and fruit-forward without any hop harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, creamy, and pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present. Entirely smooth without any raw starch texture or astringency.
