Despite its slightly elevated 6.2% ABV which adds a gentle, comforting warmth as the cold settles in, the finish remains remarkably clean and crisp. It offers a balanced bitterness that keeps the malt richness in check, culminating in a smooth, medium-full-bodied experience.
Appearance. Deep mahogany to dark brown with ruby-amber highlights. Topped with a creamy, light tan head that shows moderate retention. Brilliant clarity.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity of toasted bread crusts and bready malt richness. Subtle notes of cocoa and light caramel are present. Clean fermentation profile with no esters and an optional, very low herbal hop note.
