This potent Double IPA radiates a bold, modern profile centered entirely on the Nectaron hop. Intense aromas of sun-ripened peach, nectarine, and passion fruit leap from the glass, supported by a clean, lean malt backbone that allows the hop character to remain the focal point. On the palate, a wave of stone fruit and pineapple sweetness is immediately countered by a firm, assertive bitterness. Despite its formidable strength at 9% ABV, the finish remains crisp and medium-dry, with a lingering resinous quality and a smooth alcohol warmth. It captures a vibrant, tropical intensity while maintaining the high drinkability characteristic of the style.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange with good clarity. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves consistent lacing as it recedes.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by stone fruit characteristics of peach and nectarine, alongside tropical notes of pineapple and passion fruit. A neutral, grainy malt sweetness resides in the background, complemented by a clean fermentation profile and a hint of smooth alcohol.
Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of tropical and stone fruit flavors. The hop character is complex, showcasing prominent peach and passion fruit. A low, soft, neutral malt presence supports a high but smooth bitterness. The finish is medium-dry with a long, lingering hoppy and resinous aftertaste.
