This Double IPA serves as a concentrated sensory exploration of Citra hops, presenting a bold and expressive profile. The experience begins with an intense aromatic display of passionfruit, white peach, and vibrant lime zest. Despite its 8.2% strength, the beer maintains high drinkability through a clean, neutral malt base that stays out of the way of the hop narrative. The palate is characterized by a soft, pillowy texture and a juicy tropical fruit core, eventually transitioning into a lightly resinous finish. It successfully balances the power of a strong ale with the focused, bright aromatics of a modern single-hop showcase.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7-9 SRM) with a uniform, soft haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of passionfruit, lime zest, and white peach. Malt character is low and neutral, providing a light crackery background. Fermentation is clean with a very subtle, well-integrated alcohol sweetness.

Taste. Initial impression is a fruit-forward explosion of mango and citrus. Strong Citra hop flavors of tropical fruit and lime dominate.
