This Mediterranean-inspired American IPA showcases a vibrant complexity derived from its diverse eight-hop blend. The locally grown Nugget hops from Prades lead with a clean bitterness, complemented by earthy and subtle floral undertones. Layers of fresh citrus and ripe tropical fruit emerge through the inclusion of Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, Centennial, and Amarillo. These bright notes are grounded by the spicy and herbal accents of Willamette and Summit. A crisp, grainy malt backbone supports the intense hop profile, resulting in a refreshing yet punchy character that balances Mediterranean brightness with the bold, bitter finish traditional to the style.
Appearance. Deep gold to amber-copper (9–12 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a dense, persistent off-white head that leaves significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a bouquet of grapefruit and lemon zest, mango, and resinous pine. Subtle earthy and wildflower notes from the Prades-grown Nugget hops blend with a low, clean bready malt sweetness and neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial punch of citrus and tropical fruit flavors. The mid-palate reveals ripe stone fruit and a slight herbal spiciness. A firm, clean bitterness dominates the profile without being harsh, supported by a light toasted malt foundation. Finishes dry with a lingering resinous and citrusy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily hop texture. Moderate-high carbonation provides a crisp bite. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
