This Imperial Stout presents an opulent sensory journey defined by a 30-month barrel maturation and a decadent brunch profile. The aroma is an intense fusion of freshly roasted Mostra coffee, rich maple syrup, and deep vanilla-oak from the extended wood aging. On the palate, a luxurious, viscous body carries waves of dark chocolate and molasses, seamlessly integrated with the earthy sweetness of maple. The Mostra coffee provides a balancing roast, cutting through the sweetness with notes of espresso and subtle dark fruit. A lingering finish reveals warm bourbon and charred oak, underscoring the complexity of this massive, velvety Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer.

Appearance. Opaque, jet black (SRM 40+). Head is small, dark tan to brown with low retention and oily legs due to the maple and coffee additions.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominant aromas of rich, earthy Mostra coffee and sweet maple syrup. Deep malt notes of dark chocolate, fudge, and molasses are complemented by strong barrel-derived scents of bourbon, vanilla, and charred oak. Esters suggest dark fruits like raisins.

Taste. Initial impression is intensely sweet and roasty. Rich maple syrup and dark malt flavors of cocoa and burnt sugar dominate. The Mostra coffee adds layers of espresso and subtle berry-like acidity. Hop bitterness is low, but charred wood and coffee roast provide necessary balance.
