This two-year aged Imperial Stout emerges from a blend of specialty barrels with an opulent profile of molten chocolate and campfire sweetness. Cycle Brewing leverages the extended maturation to weave rich oak and barrel-driven vanilla into a deep-roasted grain bill. The addition of cocoa nibs amplifies the bittersweet dark chocolate core, while toasted marshmallows contribute a gooey, caramelized sugar depth. Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque. Features a small, dark tan head with low retention, leaving a viscous coating and noticeable legs on the glass (SRM 40+).
Aroma. High intensity. Dominated by bittersweet cocoa and charred oak, with prominent notes of caramelized sugar and vanilla from the toasted marshmallows. Secondary aromas of espresso, black cherry, and prunes are supported by a smooth, spirit-like warmth.
