Cuatro Lunas Dark Lager is a sophisticated Munich Dunkel that presents a deep mahogany hue with striking ruby highlights. The sensory experience is anchored by a complex malt bill featuring Pilsner and Munich malts, which provide a deeply toasted, bready foundation. The addition of Chocolate specialty malts introduces refined notes of dark coffee and cocoa without excessive roast harshness. Noble hops offer a restrained bitterness that perfectly balances the malt-forward profile. This lager concludes with a smooth, medium-dry finish where the lingering coffee character gently recedes, ensuring a clean and highly drinkable palate that honors European traditions with a crisp lager precision.

Appearance. Deep brown with prominent ruby and garnet highlights (SRM 20-25). Features a light tan, bronze-tinted head with moderate retention and clarity that ranges from clear to brilliant.

Aroma. Moderate intensity with a rich, toasted malt character resembling bread crusts and mild nuts. Distinct hints of chocolate and soft coffee are present, accompanied by a very light acidic tang from the roasted grains. The fermentation profile is clean, with almost no hop aroma.
