NEIPA - New England IPA 6.8 º
Technically Art is a robust Hazy IPA that pushes the style's boundaries through a high density approach, resulting in a luscious, saturating sensory experience. A massive injection of New World hops delivers a concentrated wave of overripe mango, pulpy pineapple, and bright citrus zest. The intentional use of a higher finishing gravity provides a sturdy, velvety canvas that carries the intense hop oils while maintaining structural balance. This heavy metal collaboration exhibits a deep, glowing opacity and a soft, pillowy texture that softens the moderate bitterness, leaving a lingering impression of tropical nectar and smooth, bready malt on the finish.
Appearance. Straw to light orange in color with a luminous, opaque haze that creates a distinct shine. Topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of passion fruit, apricot, and sweet orange peel. The fermentation character is clean and supportive, with a background of neutral, bready malt and no detectable caramel or toast.
Taste. High to very high tropical fruit flavors, specifically guava and peach, meld with a soft, grainy malt sweetness. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as lower due to the full body, leading to an off-dry, smooth finish with a clean fruit aftertaste devoid of harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a plush, smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate, and despite the higher finishing gravity, it lacks any raw starch or viscous heaviness. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
