This Double IPA is a vibrant sensory tribute to the Mosaic hop, delivering intricate layers of aroma and flavor. Intense notes of ripe blueberry, tropical papaya, and zesty tangerine dominate the profile, supported by a subtle, clean malt backbone. The 8.2% alcohol provides a restrained warmth that enhances the hop-forward character without overwhelming the palate. Brilliantly clear and gold-hued, it offers a firm but smooth bitterness that leads into a crisp, dry finish. Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper with brilliant clarity. Features a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Prominent to intense hop aroma characterized by Mosaic hop notes of blueberry, tangerine, and tropical stone fruit. Background malt is clean and neutral-grainy. Fermentation is clean with a very light, smooth alcohol note.
Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of mango, citrus, and earthy pine. Moderately high bitterness that is firm but smooth, never harsh. Supportive, clean, soft malt character leads to a dry finish with a lingering hoppy and resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is medium-high. Includes a restrained, smooth alcohol warmth and no hop-derived astringency.
