This Strong Bitter presents a refined interplay of classic British character, leaning into a full-bodied profile that distinguishes the ESB tradition. A deep copper hue gives way to an inviting bouquet of earthy and floral English hops, supported by a robust backbone of toasted bread and subtle caramel from the crystal malts. The palate finds a delicate equilibrium between its initial slight sweetness and a firm, lingering bitterness. Appearance. Deep amber to polished copper (approximately 14 SRM). Displays brilliant clarity beneath a moderate, creamy, off-white head that exhibits good retention and leaves consistent lacing on the glass.
