This innovative take on an American IPA presents a playful sensory profile defined by the addition of marshmallow and sugary candy notes over a contemporary hazy base. High-intensity aromas of tropical mango and pineapple are layered with vanilla-scented marshmallow and a sharp, clean lactic tartness. On the palate, a bright acidity is immediately softened by a creamy mid-palate of confectionery sweetness and soft vanilla. The 5.2% ABV ensures high drinkability while maintaining a medium body and velvety texture. Firm hop bitterness provides a necessary structural counterpoint to the lingering fruit-cocktail and marshmallow finish, creating a balanced yet dessert-like experience.
Appearance. SRM 5-8. Hazy pale gold to light amber. Dense, creamy white head with moderate persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Bold tropical fruit hop notes of guava and passion fruit are entwined with sugary marshmallow and vanilla bean. A clean lactic acidity is present alongside very low, grainy maltiness.
Taste. Initial tartness reminiscent of citrus zest leads into a lush hop-forward profile of melon and stone fruit. The mid-palate is characterized by a sweet, marshmallow-like creaminess and fruit candy flavors. Bitterness is moderate to firm, providing enough structure to offset the adjunct sweetness, though fruit and sugar linger in the finish.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a notable creaminess and soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. No alcohol warmth. Slight acidic tingle on the tongue with no harshness.
