CRAK Guerrilla
This vibrant American IPA presents a striking sensory profile defined by the subversive use of Mosaic, Simcoe, and Galaxy hops. It pours a deep golden color with amber reflections and a fine, persistent head. The aroma is a high-intensity tropical bouquet where Mosaic drives notes of ripe mango and grapefruit, while Galaxy and Simcoe contribute layers of fresh pineapple and a sharp, herbaceous hint of freshly cut grass. On the palate, initial exotic fruit sweetness transitions into a firm, pleasant bitterness. The finish is clean and dry, balancing the hop-forward character with a light, supporting grainy malt backbone.
Appearance. Deep golden with light amber reflections (approximately 8 SRM). Clear with a fine, white, and highly persistent head that leaves light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent tropical fruit (mango, pineapple) and citrus (grapefruit). Noticeable herbaceous and resinous notes reminiscent of fresh-cut grass. Low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness in the background with a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Strong hop flavors of mango, grapefruit, and pineapple lead the palate. Medium-high bitterness is firm but smooth, avoiding harshness. A brief, low malt sweetness provides initial balance before moving to a dry, crisp finish. The aftertaste is hoppy and clean with a lingering fruity character.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, soft texture. Moderate to high carbonation provides a crisp bite. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without any astringency.
