This decadent Imperial Stout offers an opulent sensory journey defined by an intricate layering of house-roasted almonds and intense espresso roast coffee. The collaboration creates a profile rich with the nutty depth of the almonds, seamlessly integrated into a base of bitter dark chocolate and charred grain. Madagascan vanilla beans and marshmallow additions provide a creamy, confectionary sweetness that softens the roast. The result is a bold, velvety-textured experience where the high alcohol provides a smooth, well-integrated warmth. Each sip balances the traditional roasted intensity of the style with the lush, dessert-like complexity of its premium specialty ingredients.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque. It pours with a thick, persistent deep tan head that leaves significant lacing. High viscosity is visible as slow-moving legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity with a complex blend of freshly roasted espresso and toasted almonds. Underlying notes of bittersweet chocolate, cocoa, and marshmallow sweetness are prominent. Subtle dark fruit esters like prune and raisin are present, accompanied by a clean, warming alcohol aroma and no detectable hop scent.

Taste. Initial impression is exceptionally rich and dark. Prominent flavors of espresso and toasted nuts lead into a mid-palate of bitter dark chocolate and toasted malt. A moderate hop bitterness and roasted grain character provide balance to the significant sweetness of the marshmallow and Madagascan vanilla beans. Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and exceptionally chewy with a velvety, luscious texture. Carbonation is low to moderate, enhancing the beer's weight. A smooth, noticeable alcohol warmth is present but remains well-integrated and never sharp.
