Velcro Beach IPA is a vibrant American IPA that masterfully showcases the tropical intensity of Krush and Nectaron hops. The sensory experience is lead by high-impact waves of juicy pineapple and ripe mango, underscored by a sharp, bright citrus punch. These New World hop notes are layered over a smooth, clean malt foundation that allows the hops to remain the focal point. This beer delivers a fresh, tropical hit with every sip, finishing dry and crisp. The result is a quintessential hop-forward profile where the specific Krush and Nectaron characters provide a lush, fruity depth balanced by an assertive, clean bitterness.
Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (approx. 7-10 SRM). Clear with a medium-sized, off-white head showing good persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of pineapple, mango, and citrus zest. Low, clean, grainy maltiness supports the hop-heavy presentation. Fermentation profile is clean with negligible esters.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with bold flavors of tropical fruit and grapefruit. Medium-high bitterness is firm but clean, balanced by a low, grainy malt sweetness. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste of citrus and tropical fruit.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, even texture. Medium-high carbonation provides a crisp sensation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth from the 6.2% ABV with no harshness or astringency.
