A bright base of Pilsner and wheat malt provides a soft foundation for delicate notes of lemon and green apple. The addition of sea salt is expertly restrained, offering a subtle mouthwatering salinity that enhances the crisp, bone-dry finish without becoming overtly salty. Appearance. Pours a pale yellow (3 SRM) with a distinct, persistent haze typical of an unfiltered wheat beer. It supports a moderate, frothy white head with good retention and vigorous effervescence.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity of clean, sharp lactic acidity. Prominent doughy and bready wheat malt notes are complemented by light pome fruit esters and a hint of citrus-like coriander brightness. No hop aroma is present.
Taste. Initial impression is one of refreshing tartness and a light, mineral sea salt character on the tip of the tongue. Medium-low bready malt flavors follow, balanced by lemon-like acidity rather than hops. The finish is bone-dry and crisp, with a lingering, clean lactic tang.
Mouthfeel. Light to medium-light body with very high carbonation, creating an effervescent and lively texture. The salt contributes a subtle tingly, mouthwatering sensation that prevents the beer from feeling thin despite the low ABV.
