This opulent blend of English Barley Wine and Imperial Stout emerges from a three-year slumber in Jack Daniel’s and Wild Turkey bourbon barrels as a decadent, multilayered masterpiece. The aroma is an intense symphony of roasted peanuts and gooey marshmallows, underpinned by the deep toffee and dried fruit character of the base ales. On the palate, rich waves of dark chocolate and caramel crash against charred oak and spicy bourbon notes. The extended aging integrates the 12% heat into a smooth, spirit-forward warmth. With a luscious, velvety texture, it perfectly captures the nostalgic fluffernutter profile while maintaining the sophisticated structure of a world-class barrel-aged strong ale.

Appearance. Deep, dark mahogany to near-black with brilliant ruby highlights at the edges. The head is a thin, creamy tan collar with low retention, leaving viscous legs on the glass that indicate its high alcohol and density.

Aroma. High intensity and extremely complex. Rich bready and toasty malt notes from the English Barley Wine base mingle with dark chocolate and espresso from the stout. Distinct aromas of roasted peanuts and sweet, powdery marshmallows are prominent, layered over bourbon-soaked oak, vanilla, and a hint of spicy rye from the Jack Daniel’s and Wild Turkey barrels.

Taste. Initial impression is of massive, malty sweetness featuring layers of toffee, molasses, and dark raisins. The mid-palate introduces a savory roasted peanut character balanced by sugary marshmallow fluff. Hop bitterness is low but present to provide structure against the residual sugars. Bourbon flavors of vanilla and toasted coconut emerge in the finish, alongside a vinous, sherry-like oxidation from three years of aging. The aftertaste is long and sweet with lingering notes of cocoa and oak.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied, thick, and chewy with a luscious, velvety texture. Carbonation is low, enhancing the beer's weight. A significant but smooth alcohol warmth spreads through the chest, devoid of any harsh fusel burn.
